EXTENSION OF OIL PIPELINES
Ruse Energy is extending the pipeline that carries long-range oil products.
Pipelines play an important role in the work of modern societies and their economy by transporting natural gas and oil, and petroleum products such as petroleum, paraffin and diesel fuel.
Many pipelines consist of a group of steel pipes connected together by welding. However, many gas and water pipelines are made from plastic materials, such as polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride, and pipelines are also made of aluminum, concrete, iron, or a combination of asbestos and cement. Water pipelines are often constructed in the form of parts that are connected together by special connections installed with water-proofing sensors or seal valves that prevent water and gas intrusion.
Pipelines are continuously inspected to detect leaks and damage caused by weather conditions such as low temperature, freezing, heavy rain and soil erosion. Signs of buried pipe sites are also marked to prevent damage from future construction projects.
Pipe encapsulation with tar or some other material helps to protect pipelines and reduce environmental damage caused by breaking the line.
In most cases, land dug during pipeline construction recovers its strength within three to five years.
